

District Amputee Care Center Staff
David C Fenton studied prosthetics at Rutgers University and became an ABC
certified prosthetist in 2000. Prior to turning his attention to healthcare, David
received a B.S. in Engineering from the City College of New York and a M.S. and
M.E. from the University of Virginia in Applied Mechanics and Biomedical
Engineering. Mr. Fenton has taught at Oxon Hill High School in the Technology
Department and at Prince George's Community College in the Mathematics
Department. Mr. Fenton believes in serving the community and regularly
participates in the Race for the Cure and other social awareness and
fundraising events.
Jennifer Gatson began her career in orthotics in 1993 during her service in the
United States Air Force where she attended and graduated from the USAF
Orthotic Journeyman Technical School. She was certified by the Board for
Orthotic Certification (BOC) in 1998 and by the American Board of Certification
(ABC) in 2004. Jennifer has had the opportunity to work in at National
Rehabilitation Hospital, were she was able to provide a team approach to her
patients health care, something that she believes is vital to ensuring positive
outcomes
